二、练习听力的注意事项：

BEC考试的听力材料、BEC教材中的听力练习材料和BEC真题中的听力录音，大多选择英音或英联邦英语。所以，在练习BEC精听的时候，建议选择英音的材料。精听对于听力的要求比较高，不仅要听懂篇章的含义，还要能清楚地识别篇章的结构。听写的话，还需要能正确拼写单词，尤其是断句处的大小写、标点符号等细节问题。因此，建议在练习精听时，尽量选择一个比较连续的时间段，至少是1-2个小时，在这段时间里尽量不要被其他事情所干扰。

三、练习精听的方法：

1、整体听一遍，这个时候的理解率在80%左右。根据个人水平，你也可以听几遍，直到你觉得听力材料的大意都理解了，大概也就是70%-80%左右。

2、大意听懂后，开始逐句听写。一定要逐句听，而不是逐词听。一句话听完，按下暂停，写下来，再听第二句。如果是长句子的话，可以在从句的地方暂停。这就要求在步泛听的时候，记清楚句子结构。逐句听还有一个好处，就是训练你的短时记忆能力。

3、写完后检查，也是逐句听，核对你写下来的内容。主要是有没有漏词、错词、加词等。

4、再次检查，主要检查拼写，特别是英式拼写和美式拼写。这一步可以不听录音，只看文本。

5、跟着录音朗读。精听完成后，再跟着录音朗读一遍，一可以加深印象，二可以对某些单词的发音得以确认和模仿，尤其是部分单词的英式发音，比如direction，美式发音为[də\'rɛkʃn]，而英式发音为[daɪ\'rekʃ(ə)n]。

四、推荐的精听材料：

精听材料建议选择经济类材料，英音的人物访谈。人物访谈相较于经济新闻来说，语体、语言的选择更加随意自然，符合真实的英语商务语境。同时，受访者的语速、语音、语调、用词都会不同，对于熟悉不同语音、不同用法来说是很有益的。

要想补充商务背景的话，建议选择经济类新闻来练习听力，比如BBC的business daily。BBC上的经济新闻一般都是每天更新的，如果每天都拿一段来练习的话，不仅可以对近期重大的商务事件有所了解，对于商务经济词汇、词组的掌握也是颇有益处的。
