2. 每天听半小时BBC广播,听不懂没有关系,最重要的是要习惯英式发音与语速(这个对听力的帮助很大)

A.熟悉并背下每单元前面的单词(这个学生用书上都有。背下这些就够用了,不用再买什么BEC词汇之类的书了),一定要着重背下商务用词,比如说什么list, share, term之类的,它们一般与常用意思差别比较大。这个环节就主要是积累了,以后在学习商务文章的时候也能慢慢积累一些常用的商务词汇。

B.每个单元的第一篇课文很重要。先看一遍,不用看得太深,然后就试着翻译,一定要在心里说出翻译的内容,不能模棱两可,自欺欺人,然后着重标下自己没有翻译下来,或者觉得自己没有翻译准确的地方,然后就对照辅导书的答案把对应的翻译文本仔细看一下,然后合上辅导书,再一次在心里默默翻译,知道翻译到自己满意为止。然后就去尝试着去做文章后的题目。(这个步骤也可以放在自己第一遍快速阅读后面完成,看自己对文章的理解程度而定)接下来是最后也是最有用最枯燥最难完成的一个步骤了。对照辅导书上的翻译文本,试着做汉译英,完成之后再对照课文,看自己哪里没有翻译好,并一一纠正.这个步骤能很好的检验并提高自己商务英语的写作水平。只要你坚持,你的英语水平,以及商务英语水平,特别是商务英语写作水平,都能大大提高。这个步骤,一个月最好要有四次以上。

C.接下来就是做课后习题了,建议一定要认真做,因为有的会很简单,容易造成自己放松忽略的心理。多注意题型,和冠词的运用,这个不管是对改错题还是填词题都会有很大的帮助。

D.每个单元后都有相应的专题测验,这个一定不要浪费。做第一遍不要把答案写在上面,用铅笔写上,或直接写在另外准备的一个笔记本上。(建议使用好的笔记本,这样自己不容易弄丢,也能方便自己以后查阅,看自己哪里错,哪里没有掌握)。然后大概两个星期之后,你就可以再做一遍,如此循环,每次你都会发现自己的问题,然后总结自己的问题,你会很有收获。(关于做题技巧,你可以借鉴一些同类书籍随刊赠送的光碟,新东方制作的就行)。

4.然后就是做真题了。

A.首先形成一个做题顺序,不是笼统的按照从开始到最后,而是根据自己对题型的掌握程度和题型本身的难易程度,因为BEC的第一二答题一般都比较难,每空的分值又和容易一点的题型一样,所以建议一般都放到最后去做。我的习惯做题顺序是654312

B.然后就是掐时间做真题。不要直接在真题上写答案,把答案工整的写在笔记本上,就当自己在写答题卡,每做完一道大题都记上精确到秒的时间,然后根据自己对题型的掌握程度和考试所规定的时间给自己做一个答题时间计划,就是每道题都给自己一个限定的时间,包括大作文和小作文的写作时间。这样形成习惯,以后做题都不会慌,自己也就能够在保证正确率的前提下在规定时间内完成答题了。(这个得慢慢来哦,得自己多总结多了你就一定会有收获。答题时间的推荐,你也可以参考随刊赠送的免费视频教课光碟)

C.然后就是总结自己做完真题的得失了。这个能很好的激励自己努力复习,不断提高自己(因为往往都会错很多),呵呵。

D.建议一个星期完成一套真题的一次答题,包括总结。然后等所有真题都轮了第一遍之后,你就开始真题的第二次练习了。如此反复,一直到考试前一两天晚上。你会发现你做题时间越来越快,正确率越来越高,(当然这里面有部分是因为你在做你做过的题,不过除去记忆力的成分,你的收获还是毋庸置疑的),你的做题习惯越来越好,当你觉得你做题能泰然自若,你就离成功不远了。
