我本科毕业出来工作已经两个月了,大学期间英语只过了四级。现在在一家对外贸易的企业工作,平时工作经常用到英语,多数用于与外国客人的交流,勉强还能应付。为了以后有更好的晋升机会

我是去年考过的BEC Vantage 。过了英语六级的,应付BEC的语法肯定是没有问题的。但是BEC毕竟是商务方面的,跟我们平时接触的日常英语不大一样,有一定的专业性。
关于要不要买词汇书的问题???
如果你对商务方面的单词一点都不了解的话,你应该准备一本剑桥商务英语的词汇书,复习前期好好背背单词,不要以为你六级词汇就可以应付了。不一样的概念,即使有些单词你认识或者考四六级都背过,但在商务中它可能是另外的意思,所以除非你对自己的词汇量很满意,还是买本词汇来背好点。
关于要不要报班的问题???
看你经济允许不了,如果闲钱比较多的话,报班也是个不错的选择。报班当然报新东方好点。其实并不是说报班能学到多少东西,主要是报班了,老师讲课都很应试,去了以后你容易找到目标和解题方法,老师会交你经验,比你自己学习摸索要轻松,会放你省不少时间。其实学还是要靠自己。
如果你自学能力比较强的话,其实不报班也可以。但是一定要买教材。(报班的话可以不买教材,新东方就要给你发它内部教材的。)买当然买剑桥商务英语中级的教材。
关于口语???
口语跟笔试不是一起考的,我考的时候是抽签,我们考BEC是在一个周末,运气好的就抽到周六上午考笔试,周日考口语,这样还有的休息。运气不好的还有抽到周六上午考笔试,下午就考口语的,看个人运气了。
关于口语的问题,强烈推荐你买一本书《新编剑桥商务英语口试必备手册》,陈小慰主编,经济科学出版社的,我觉得真的很有用。BEC的口语一定要练要背,因为人家要你说出东西来,你平时口语再好,临场给人家全部说的口水话,你再流利,但是没有实质的东西是不行的,你说的内容最好是商务性质的。
最后就是做题的问题???
BEC的题型跟我们四六级的题型不一样,你一定要多练,考试的时候是做一样,收一样的卷子,要练习速度的。买题的时候尽量还是买剑桥商务英语的历年真题。(其实说是真题,多半还是预测题,因为据说真题从来不外漏的,但是做了还是很有效果的)
还有就是我考BEC在当当网上买了好多资料,提醒你市面上买不到想要的东西,就到网上买吧!!!
