CET-4/6（公外4级/6级）是非英语专业的学生在大学的时候英语过级的考试。英语专业的学生是过TEM-4/8（专业四级/八级）。
CET-6大概与TEM-4的水平差不多。
TEM-8是英语专业学生大四才能参加的考试。
