Health Education1.Health education is the part of health care that is concerned with promoting healthy behavior. A person's behavior may be the main cause of a health problem, but it can also be the main solution. This is true for the teenager who smokes, the mother with the poorly nourished(营养) child, and the butcher(屠夫,卖肉的人)who gets a cut on his finger. One example of this is immunization(免疫):scientists have made many vaccines(疫苗)to prevent diseases, but this achievement is of no value unless people go to receive immunization.3.Health education encourages behavior that promotes health, prevent illness, cures disease and contributes to recovery. The needs and interests of individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities are at the heart of health education programs. Thus there are many opportunities for practicing health education.4.Health education is not the same thing as health information.Correct information is certainly a basic part of health education, but health education must also address the other factors that affect health behavior such as availability(可获性)of resources, effectiveness of community leadership, social support from family members, and levels of self-help skills.Health education therefore uses a variety of methods to help people understand their own situations and choose actions that will improvetheir health. Health education is incomplete unless it encourages involvement and choice by the people themselves.5.Also,in health education we do not blame people if they do not behave in a healthy way. They already guide blind and disabled people; now dogs are to be trained to help people with dementia (痴呆). The duties of these "guide dogs for the mind" will include reminding their owners to take medication, as well as encouraging them to eat, drink and sleep at regular intervals.
The dementia dogs will be trained to respond to sound triggers in the home that prompt them to perform tasks. These could include delivering a bite-proof bag of medicine with a note inside reminding the patient to take it, or waking them up in the morning.
The idea was developed by design students at the Glasgow School of Art and will now be put into practice by Alzheimer"s Scotland and Dogs for the disabled.
Joyce Gray of Alzheimer"s Scotland said, "People in the early stages of dementia are still able to live a relatively normal life, and dogs help to maintain routine."
The other advantage of using the pets as companions is that conversation can be increasingly confusing for people with Alzheimer"s, but dogs can give them a sense of silent support and companionship. People light up when they see animals. They don"t need to communicate verbally but they can still interact. You can have a speechless bond.
The dog would also encourage the owner to take them out for walks, ensuring they keep exercising and interacting with other people.Who will train the dogs to perform such tasksA、The students who developed the idea.B、The owners of the dogs.C、The experts in Alzheimer"s Scotland.D、It is not mentioned in the passage.

单选题Passage1Children who spend more than two hours a day at a computer or watching television are more likely than others to have mental problems, scientists say.Researchers found that 11-year-olds who spent several hours in front of a screen each day did worse on mental health tests,no matter how much physical exercise they got. The University of Bristol study, published in Pediatrics, involved more than 1,000 children aged about 10.They also had the kids fill out questionnaires designed to gauge the kids' emotional well-being and behavior. The questionnaires contained 20 questions covering five sections-emotional difficulties, conduct problems, hyperactivity or inattention, friendships and peer groups and problems relating to friends and peer groups. The study found no direct evidence that sitting in front of a screen actually causes mental health problems. Instead,it suggests that children with difficulties, such as extreme shyness, are more likely to choose TV or computer games than sociable activities. In the study, children were asked whether they agreed, disagreed or somewhat agree with a list of statements, including,"I generally play alone or keep to myself" and,"I am often unhappy or tearful".They were also asked how much exercise they took and how long they spent at a TV or computer screen.According to the study, children who spent more than two hours a day at a screen had a 60% higher risk of mental problems than children who spent fewer viewing hours. The risk was only slightly higher in children who did little or no exercise."Physical activity is good for health in many ways, but it can't make up for long hours of screen viewing. Parents should consider limiting their children's screen viewing to no more than 2 hours a day,”said the study organizer,Angie Page.Previous studies have raised concerns that watching too much television can affect children's behavior in later life. A Canadian study found that those who watched most TV as young children performed worse at school, ate more junk food and had more trouble concentrating.Which of the children behavior below leads to the highest risk of the mental problems, according to the University of Bristol study?A
Playing computer every day.B
Watching TV 3 hours per day.C
Doing few physical activities.D
Owning few friends.
