全国商务外语考试办公室和全国商务外语专业委员会组织开展全国商务英语翻译考试(BETT)，旨在测试考生在商务工作环境中对英语的应用能力，为社会及企业提供源源不断的商务英语翻译人才
BETT考试包括笔译和口译两种形式，考试合格，相应独立发放证书。考试分为五个等级，即初级、中级、高级、翻译师和高级翻译师。
1、相应的报名条件如下：
初级：适用于英语相关专业的专科毕业生和非英语专业的本科毕业生;专业英语水平相当的在职和在读人员;
中级：适用于英语相关专业本科生;专业英语水平相当的在职和在读人员;
