那么,说到职场英语证书,很多人都表示听过BEC或托业,但不知道这两者到底有啥区别。

BEC证书

BEC剑桥商务英语是专为职场人士所设计的国际商务英语资格证书考试。

BEC主要考察应试者在真实工作环境中的英语交流能力。

此后,BEC考试因为高含金量,成为职场英语商务英语的代名词。

托业考试

托业考试由美国教育考试服务中心(ETS)开发,专门针对在国际工作环境中使用英语交流的能力。

该机构也是著名的托福(TOFEL)考试的出题机构,权威性不言而喻。

两种考试区别和价值

总体来说,BEC和托业都是重要的商务英语考试,是全球范围里备受认可的能力证书类型。

BEC理论、综合知识要求更高,托业考试更侧重实用性和应用能力。

此外,两种还有两个主要区别,分别是——

1. 考试时间不同

BEC考试一年只有上半年、下半年两种考试。

而托业考试每个月都有。

2. 应用企业不一样

尽管BEC和托业都是针对职场英语的考试,但不同企业对于这两种考试接受度还是稍有区别。

一般来说,BEC考试更侧重英式英语,而托福侧重美式英语。
